Houston Cinema Arts Society’s regional short film competition, Borders | No Borders, is accepting submissions! The program is open to short film fiction and documentary films with ties to Texas, Mexico, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas and Louisiana. Finalists are selected to screen at the 2023 Houston Cinema Arts Festival in November, with two films in each category awarded cash prizes totaling $3,000 from a panel of three jurors each that reflect the region.
