The need for Week 1 extras is announced for the new feature film NEW YEARS REV, set to begin filming soon in the Oklahoma City area.
The comedy, written and directed by Lee Kirk, is the story of three friends who journey to Los Angeles to open for Green Day on New Years Eve. Their roadtrip is a rowdy and mischievous jaunt across the country filled with adventures, based on the exploits of Green Day and their years of living in a tour van.
The film features Green Day, Jenna Fischer (The Office), Angela Kinsey (The Office) and Sean Gunn (Gilmore Girls) in the cast.
It is Executive Produced by Ryan Kroft, Michael Rapino and Jonathan Daniel, and produced by Tim Perell, Stella Bulochnikov, Robin Rapino and Jolene.
Pay is a guarantee of $100/day. Anything over 12 hours will incur overtime.
Anyone selected to work with their vehicle will receive an additional $25 in pay.

FILMING WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 5
CUSTOMERS – Males and females, aged 18-80, any ethnicity. They are customers in a roadside diner. Truckers, farmers, families traveling across country, retirees in their RV, all walks of life.
DINER CUSTOMERS & CARS – Males or females, 21-80, any ethnicity. They will be driving their vehicle across the screen. Please include a photo of your vehicle. Production cannot use white in color, but anything else is fine. Older-model cars, trucks, SUVs, etc. At least 5 years old and hopefully more. Please include a photo of your vehicle as well as year/make/model.
DINER EMPLOYEES – Males and females, 18-50, any ethnicity. They work in a roadside diner somewhere on I-40.
CASHIER – Male or female, 30+
FILMING FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7
HIGHWAY DRIVERS – Males or females, 21-80, any ethnicity. They will be driving their vehicle across the screen. Please include a photo of your vehicle. Production cannot use white in color, but anything else is fine. Older-model cars, trucks, SUVs, etc. At least 5 years old and hopefully more. Please include a photo of your vehicle as well as year/make/model
PEDESTRIANS – Males and females, 25-60, any ethnicity. They will be walking through the middle-class, suburban neighborhood.
