The Oklahoma Film + Music Office would love to have you at our Film Friendly Forum in Broken Arrow on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
Held every two years as an initiative of our Oklahoma Film Friendly Community Program, the Film Friendly Forum works to provide city and tribal leadership training, connection and support surrounding the state’s film and television industry.
This year’s event promises to be our most robust Film Friendly Forum yet with a full day of interactive panels and discussions, a filmmaker mixer and more – all on the heels of the City of Broken Arrow’s first film festival which begins Friday, October 2!
Attendance is FREE, and we welcome community and tribal leaders from across the state to join us for this dynamic workshop. Together, we will explore best practices for positioning Oklahoma communities as strong partners for the entertainment industry and maximizing the economic, workforce and business opportunities this sector can bring.
Our day will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a continental breakfast and programming at the beautiful Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center, located at 701 S. Main St. At noon (12:00pm), attendees will make the short trip to the Hilton Garden Inn, offering a firsthand look at how filmmakers move between locations and navigate a community during production. The program will continue with lunch, additional interactive presentations and an evening Filmmaker Mixer.
We strongly encourage you to join us for the full day to experience each session, connect with producers and film professionals, and gain practical insights your community can use to better support production. A complete agenda and additional speaker details will be released soon.
Please submit your information through the form on this page to RSVP. Attendance is free, but registration is required.
