The Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO) is proud to support the Oklahoma Motion Picture Alliance (OKMPA) in hosting Pitchfest+, one of the first-of-its-kind events in Oklahoma with visiting film executives, writers, producers and other creatives speaking, mentoring and looking to discover Oklahoma’s next breakout media stars.

Taking place on October 18, 2025, at Meridian Tech’s Guthrie campus, Pitchfest+ will feature a variety of events and activities throughout the day including “Coffee with Crew” networking event and ten panels throughout the day featuring experts in film, television, reality tv, distribution and sales, talent, casting, VFX, animation and music. OKMPA members will have an opportunity to sit down with one of the experts for individual mentoring or to pitch a project. The event will conclude with “Cocktails with Crew” featuring, local musicians including Tulsa’s Madame Zeroni and Oklahoma City’ Mallory Eagle.

“Pitchfest+ is Oklahoma’s most comprehensive media event of the year,” said Cassidy Lunnen, OKMPA Board Chair. “Our members will meet and learn directly from media powerhouses, the decision-makers behind the films, shows and music that define our culture. We’ve eliminated the gatekeepers and layers of approval. We’re bringing in the people who could launch your career.”

Special guests include Rich Peluso, Executive Vice President and Head of AFFIRM Films, Sony Pictures Entertainment; Angeline Izquierdo, Creative Director at ShadowMachine; Emily Barclay Ford, Executive Vice President of Team Downey; Billy “Big Billy” Clark, Artist Manager and Music Executive, BBCE Management; Jonathan Lipnicki, Executive Producer, Buffalo 8 Productions; Emily Schweber, Emily Schweber Casting; and Josiah Akinyele, Talent Agent, Innovative Artists.

“Our office alongside many of our fellow regional film commissions and partners are proud to support the OKMPA in bringing this event to Oklahoma,” said OF+MO Director Jeanette Stanton. “We look forward to welcoming the incoming film executives as we showcase the depth and talent of our local industry, all of whom contribute to the vital film and music ecosystem in our state.”

OKMPA is the only membership organization for all film makers in Oklahoma, representing almost 600 professionals including actors, writers, producers, directors, studios, production companies, technical crew members and students. OKMPA is the state’s leading advocate for the media industry, championing policies that attract production to the state.

Pitchfest+ is open to OKMPA members and non-members alike. Registration and more details can be found at okmpa.com/events.
