The Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO), in conjunction with Knox Studios, is pleased to announce the company has been designated a certified soundstage for film and television production in Oklahoma per the requirements of the state’s film incentive program, the Filmed in Oklahoma Act of 2021. Knox Studios is the fifth certified soundstage in the state.
“Knox Studios is proud to be the latest certified soundstage by the Oklahoma Film + Music Office,” said Studio Production Manager Jordan Underwood. “Studio A was created to be the ultimate flex space for creativity and a blank canvas to build from. Our facility is equipped with oversized double doors for ease of gear and vehicle loading, a garage and gear storage area, a lounge space with full playback capabilities, an on-site voiceover recording booth, plus dressing rooms and a variety of working areas. The second floor is equipped for additional desks or storage, adding 3,000 square feet of working space.”
Based in Oklahoma City, Knox Studios supports productions of all types from commercial to digital to everything in between with ample studio space to accommodate large format set builds to small footprint product shoots. Studio A features a massive 270-degree cyclorama infinity wall (available in green or white), 20’ ceilings outfitted with a light grid and over 2,600 square feet of soundstage. Additionally, Knox Studios’ internal production team members and lighting/grip gear packages can be added to any rental as the company stands by ready to serve the region’s expanding production community.
“We are thrilled to add Knox Studios’ Studio A to our certified soundstages,” says Jeanette Stanton, Director of OF+MO. “Infrastructure like this plays a vital role in the state’s film and television industry by providing critical studio space for productions, and we value the investment from Knox Studios and their contribution to our continued industry growth in Oklahoma.”
Oklahoma’s film incentive continues to attract filmmakers from across the nation. Because of it, our local film industry continues to grow. In 2025, OF+MO facilitated the filming of 34 films and TV productions in the state, resulting in an estimated $65.7M spent in Oklahoma and contributed to the creation of 5,336 jobs.
