The RIVERSPORT NightWater Summer Music Series is back for its second year, and the Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO) is proud to be returning as a sponsor. This series highlights local artists in a unique outdoor concert space from June 4 to August 7 at RIVERSPORT in Oklahoma City. Soon to be one of the hosts for the 2028 Summer Olympics, RIVERSPORT is already setting the stage for one-of-a-kind experiences.
While last year’s events featured seven artists, this year’s NightWater Music Series has expanded to host 14 different acts among performances occurring two nights a week on Thursdays and Fridays, 5-8 p.m. There will be a variety of free music performances that guests can enjoy for free in select areas – or audiences may opt in for an upgraded experience to partake in activities including tubing, rafts and surfing via the NightWater $25 pass.
This year’s lineup includes Jacob Becannen (6/5), Tyler Smith (6/11), Mark Vollertsen (6/12), Derek Harris (6/18), Stephen Salewon (6/19), Rocky Kanaga (6/25), Melvin Rinner (6/26), Erick Taylor (7/3), Aaron Newman (7/9), Daniel Card (7/10), Shaun Suttle (7/30), Eric Dunkin (7/31) and Joey Wallace (8/7). A special appearance by Giacomo DJ and a guest DJ will be the music performance for June 4, July 2 and August 6 as part of the Sunset Flow Sessions. Note: The series will take a brief hiatus as RIVERSPORT hosts the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships the weeks of July 12 and 19.
“It’s great to be a part of an event that supports local talent like myself,” says musician Rocky Kanaga. “What an exciting honor to play music at a site that will take center stage in the 2028 Olympics. Thanks, RIVERSPORT OKC!”
