The Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO) is proud to partner on two upcoming music events in Northeast Oklahoma. Both events showcase the diverse music talents local to the area and highlight the Tulsa region’s legacy of music culture.

The Soundup Roundup at The Church Studio
The Church Studio in Tulsa is setting the stage for the first-of-its-kind intimate, storytelling concert in Tulsa, The Soundup Roundup. Offering a one-of-a-kind experience by borrowing from Nashville-style traditions, this monthly event launches this September and promises to showcase a rotating group of artists, all of whom have stories to tell. This debut showcase will include performances from Audra Mae, Natalie Reed and Voth.
“Tulsa has always been a hub for creativity,” says Caleb Voth co-founder of Soundup Roundup and member of Voth. “From Leon Russell and the Tulsa Sound to today’s thriving local music scene — but most live shows focus on the performance, not the story. A songwriting round creates a space where artists can be vulnerable, share the heart and inspiration behind their music, and connect with audiences on a deeper level. It also brings a beloved Nashville tradition to Tulsa, elevating the city’s music culture by giving both fans and songwriters a chance to experience music in its rawest and most authentic form. Our number one goal is to feature local artists. We that believe in doing this, it will serve the city well and attract outside talent to come and make music on Oklahoma soil.”
The first show will take place at The Church Studio in Tulsa on September 25 at 7 p.m. Tickets are still available, but seating is limited. The Oklahoma Film + Music Office is proud to sponsor this unique event.
