Oklahoma Film + Music Office to Support Purcell’s Heart of Oklahoma Music Festival

The Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO) is proud to support the 2025 Heart of Oklahoma Music Festival, taking place September 27 on Main Street in Purcell, Okla. Presented in partnership with the City of Purcell and the Heart of Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce, this family-friendly event returns for a second year with live music, food trucks, vendors and more.

“The Heart of Oklahoma Festival is more than just music—it’s a celebration of our community and the people who make Purcell such a special place to live,” says Serena Melton, an organizer of the festival. “We are proud to welcome everyone back for another year of great entertainment, food and family fun.”

Kicking off at 11 a.m., the festival will showcase several Oklahoma artists within the lineup, including Brother Heywood, Etowah Road, Gary Gibson Band, Red Dirt Rangers and The Great Divide.

“We first connected with the City of Purcell at the soft launch of our Oklahoma Music Friendly Community Program last year, and were thrilled to learn more about the community’s support and investment in bringing live, local music to their community through this festival,” says Jeanette Stanton, Director of OF+MO. “We’re proud to be a first time partner of the Heart of Oklahoma Music Festival as events like these not only make music accessible, but also positively impact and drive economic opportunity within the community.”

Admission is FREE to attend the Heart of Oklahoma Music Festival. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, and no outside alcohol, ice chests or drone photography will be permitted.
