Cherokee Film Studios Account Executive

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Includes the following:

  • Pursues new business opportunities and clients for Cherokee Film Studios.
  • Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, specifically those related to soundstages, film and tv production requirements.
  • Identifies and pursues opportunities for new business development within the film, tv and advertising industries, leveraging expertise in soundstages and production facilities along with virtual production processes. 
  • Liaisons with Cherokee Film Studios and the client that ensures seamless communication, collaboration, and on-set needs  addressing client concerns and facilitating efficient project execution.
  • Negotiates contracts specific to soundstage rentals and film-related services, ensuring the satisfaction of both the client and Cherokee Film Studios.
  • Tracks, monitors, and manages client financial accounts related to film productions, overseeing budget adherence, invoicing, and timely payment.
  • Stays informed of industry trends, advancements in soundstage technology, virtual or XR production technology, and changes in the film production landscape to provide insights for business development strategies.
  • Applies various film incentive programs to optimize Cherokee Film Studios return. 
  • Works with the public relations and marketing teams to expand brand awareness, creating promotional materials, and earned media for Cherokee Film Studios.
  • Provides internal teams with the necessary information and support to meet the unique needs of film productions hosted at Cherokee Film Studios.
  • Follows up with clients and maintains ongoing relationships to secure repeat business and referrals.
  • Handles customer inquiries, questions, and complaints.
  • Attends relevant industry events and conferences to promote Cherokee Film Studios and establish new business connections.
  • Conducts site tours and showcase the facility’s features and capabilities to potential clients.
  • Collaborates with clients to understand their production requirements, develop custom proposals, and negotiate rental agreements.
  • Analyzes competition brand and assist in properly positioning the company and its products and services.
  • Utilizes and maintain proper sales and performance records via applications such as Zoho to manage leads, accounts, and pipelines to streamline the sales process.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in communications, film and production, or related field and five (5) or more years of experience in the film and media industry with one (1) or more years of experience in a soundstage studio environment and five (5) or more years accounts management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Advanced knowledge of Google Drive Suite and Microsoft Teams. Proven experience in sales and account management within the film industry, with a deep understanding of soundstages and production facilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex industry-specific concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a focus on soundstage rentals and film-related contracts.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing intricate details associated with film productions.
  • Ability to be present on film sets, acting as a liaison and representing Cherokee Film Studios professionally.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects and meet clients’ expectations.

LOCATION

Cherokee Film Studios, Owasso, Oklahoma

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work will be performed in a variety of settings, including climate-controlled office and outdoors in all types of weather. Employee may be called into work outside of standard work hours. Will be required to travel including overnight stays.
